As title, I was driving home from work last night and saw three or four kids at the side of the road, as I passed them I heard a big bang, checked my mirror and saw them running off, I pulled over and checked my car and they had thrown a house brick at it putting a hole and a massive crease in the rear quarter, If I wasn't 7 months pregnant I'd have gone after them and run the little twats over, what is wrong with them?? there were bricks all over the road so they had obviously made a night of this new venture, I'm just glad I was in the daily driver and not the RS and that it hit the shell and not the windscreen or window. I don't know what the country is coming to when kids see that as funny.
Went to the police but there is nothing they can do.

Sadly its 30 years of degeneration in parenting standards and morals causing it, and its going to take probably that long to sort it but not without drastic changes in policy and law from the government, and quite frankly, the current standard of MP's is such that none of them have the fucking balls to make decisions that are in the long term interests of this country rather than decisions to get them re-elected in 4 years.

I had my navara a week and the same thing happened, i would have knocked their teeth out if i had caught them but the little shits ran away. We all did naughty stuff when we were young but things have got stupid now.

Thank you It could have been a lot worse, you are right about the respect thing, it won't have occurred to them that it would cost for repairs or my insurance excess (luckily my husband can repair it) it also won't have occurred to them that the distraction could have made me crash (luckily I'm very cool headed) the more I see of today's teenagers the more I want to keep my unborn child far away from today's society as I am afraid she won't be strong enough to not follow the pack. All we can do is steer her right and hope she will have enough of us both to be ok. Its a scary time indeed.

I blame the majority on the parents too, had the little shit round here constantly ringing my doorbell, his old man just laughed, so I returned the favour, on the hour every hour between 6pm and 4pm when he left for work for a week, he hasn't rang our bell since!!
Recently been told it's my fault his dad crashed his car and wrote it off on the way to work as he was so tired from me bell ringing, but as I said to the plod who don't see what they can do about it, I said it works both ways.
Best bit was his 14 month old car was uninsured and on finance.

first thigns first, the parents should be responsible for their kids until they are 16, so if you kid does something that is punishable, you do the punishment, so if that means you getting locked up for 5 years, that's your lookout

secondly, time off for good behaviour
wtf? you go to prison because you've been an 'orrible little scrote, so you get banged up for 23 hours a day
if you misbehave, you get longer, if you are good and behave, you get out after your time is up, no on a tag, or after 2 minnutes because you've served so long before the trial date, you should have thought about that before you went and did the stupid thing you did to get banged up in the first place

then you come to reform
you want to learn a new skill? you go out in a chain gang and serve half your sentance doing graft, so that it bring home the meaning that in order to get a erward, you have to impart some sort of effort to gain it
then you can be let out for 1 hour a day to learn what you want to learn in a controled enviroment, as inside the prison walls

there you go, a set of rules and regs for the dojj party when it comes to power

Taxi dirver who lives opposite me said he was coming back from Teeside airport on the A19 @ Easington services with a fare in and 2 young lads dropped a few bricks off the top of the bridge and one went through the back window. Said there was a loud bang and glass everywhere.

Took the fare home with no back window in. Put him out of service for the rest of the night. Could have been worse if it hit the roof!

Little children have always been bad in places. When I was a kid we once stood at the top of my mates road in a snowy winter and threw ready made snow balls at cars passing by (30 road), one guy turned around came into the close of my mates house but we all locked the door, mate who's house it was answered with the chain and told him to fuck off whilst I was paranoid about my brand new green Nike air max classic outside the back. However as the house was for sale a number was on the board. We got a swift telling off big time.

We also used to throw stones at trains and tanker trains so much it made the papers but throwing stones/bricks at cars is really really dangerous. Some people do it off bridges so watch out. Feel sorry for you, hope its not that bad.

Glad your OK and it wasn't your decent car. Kids today talk of 'respect' but then show very little and they have no fear.

Know how you feel, some kids well young men!, had football outside some shops while I waiting in car and guess what it hit my car. When I questioned their intelligence they just give a soppy expression. Only a light tap on the car, but any common sense.
