the gear box was a glebe , i got to know nick cresswell through andy lloyd ,my box was perfect, it is a direct replacement for a standard t5 still using the same alcon 6 paddle clutch it was a t5 straight cut dog box ,changed gear really quick , the only problem i had and it was my fault because i dident give myself enough time to get used to it, and i hit first gear at about 90mph at donnington and it revved way passed 10,000 rpm and blew 8 exhaust valves ,my only advice to anybody having one of there boxes especially if its for a road going car ,is have it with the syncroes because the noise is deffening but i suppose the noise adds to the rs scene ,

Noise don't bother me mate, just the fact it will let me drive LOL

What ratios where in yours, was it a close ratio one, did u loose all the top end ?

great to hear it from the pits but when your in the car its a different story , on track its not to bad as the noise of the engine diff, you can hardley hear the box but on the road its deffening usually have tissues stuffed in my ears looks quite funny when driving round

ive heard that the glebe dog boxes suffered from alot of gear failures ?? i was going to go to one from my quaife dog box , but after i heard that , i had a re-think

 

ya cud always have a tremec warrenty to 600 bl/ft ya never gona break that

brand new box
spoke to mark shead and zoo are now doing modded bellhousings and other stuff to fit them stright into the car

rear mount just bolts on with small plate

we doing them in the car with big zoo prop new clutch, hydro clutch kit ,brackets Ł2400 in the car or Ł2600 hyrdo cov

So 1400 quid for the box - lead times, spec, ratios etc..
