Hi took my erst off the road for the winter first time ive ever done it come to it this week battery was dead so have been charging that i have gone to fire it up and everything is working but it wont fire and i cannot here a buzzing from my fuel pump does anyone have any ideas cheers

 

relays??check you have live getting to pump?knackered pump?

 

ya pump might of seized over the winter,can u hear the relay?

 

i can her the relays we think the immobiliser hs packed up and that is the problem cheers for ur help

 

are you getting a spark? rule that out first, the relay should click then the pump should prime on ignition then fall silent, then it will make some noise when the car is running

 

i definately have a spark i cant turn tne immobiliser off and have that connected to the fuel pump so im thinking its that

 

disconnect the wiring from the fuel pump and connect the pump directly to a battery and the pump will buzz if its working, if that works then that leaves you with a relay, wiring or immobilser issue
