Default cold start valve goosed?

my s2 takes ages to start first thing in morning, turns over for ages then splutters into life with throttle on three cylinders and goes on to four a few seconds later......starts instantly when hot though?

are these symptoms of a goosed cold start valve? and if so does anyone know where i'll get a new one?

Its still running mfi by the way.

When mine failed it was in the "on" position making the car run rich, disconnected it and it starts first time now.
