Default Stack rev counter again help please

I have a stack rev counter how do i configure it to run coil pack i am running it off pin 25 on my ecu.
I have removed the rev counter but it hasnt got a switch or anything like that on it, i dont have the booklet to check.It was peak recall button is it done through that?

yes, its done throught the button. You have to set it to 2 cylinder mode.

Carlo....

Don`t run it off the ecu mate, just put it to one side of the coilpack trigger and set it up for 2 cylinder operation

Just noticed you have picked up the trigger at the ecu

Rob how do you set it to 2 cylinder operation from the switch is there a sequence(sp) also there is a blue wire going into the rev counter i think its from the peak recall switch is that the signal wire that i use to put the wire from the ecu to?

Still not winning run the signal wire from pin 25 but it didnt work

Matei know where you went wrong... you said nice clean RWD saff, 380hp, decent brakes and suspension and get use out it!!! No fucking fancy engine

I know mate thing is tho i know if i break it i will just buy another evo or something then back to square one because i cant leave anything alone

Just go straight to one side of the coilpack then fella, either one of the outside connections on the 3 pin plug on the coilpack.....then set the counter to 2 cyl and it should be all good

Exactly like Rob said. Run it from a trigger after the ignition Amps. Have the same probs with the VDO Rev counter on Lee's Westy. They need a stronger signal.

Carlo, dont hack into the Loom!!! Carefully remove one of the pins from the coilpack plug and either crimp a new terminal on with an extra wire to feed your counter or carefully solder another wire onto the existing connector. Refit into plug and hey presto you have a factory looking feed!
