The mx5 is probably the best handling car in your list.

Someone is flogging a Sierra 4x4 gls with the 2.9i V6 engine on here for not mucnh money - brilliant bit of a toy for track use and it won't explode and kill you neither

Clio 172-

I got one for circa £1500 quid and its been faultless... hammered at Donno and used daily.

The other cars on your list are old and possible messed with and will no doubt be un reliable in some way.

gti 6? i paid 650 for one.then rolled it but still got my money back for the car after i sold the interior and then sold the rest of the car.
also a xsara vts is exact same car more or less except it hasnt got the shitty 6 speed box and there much cheaper than the 306's ,i paid 850 for a 51plate vts last year that would have made a realy good cheap track car.

that with a t88 and a little sniff of gas to spool it up would make a nice little track car

I'm biased but I'd say Fiesta Zetec-S. Can pick em up cheap as chips now, not loads of power but mega fun.

This area is fairly well taken care of...

Koni adjustables

Brembo Brakes

Uprated anti-roll bars front and rear

Poly-bushed throughout

Front and rear strut braces...

Looking forward to trying her out

I know these are prob 1 of the best tyres 4 track days to use if not the best , but are there any others that i should look at that are possibly a little cheaper and of a slighty harder compound so they would last me abit longer as unfortunatley i dont have an end less budget 4 the car...

The car will also be used on the road so i would like it to stay semi useable etc , will i really gain much on track by loosing the rear seats , spare wheel , dr cards etc ?
