Sounds like a scam to me mate. My missus has recently sold something on ebay and posted it out recorded delivery. The buyer put in a claim with paypal a week later saying they havent recieved it. Even after giving paypal proof proof of postage they still refunded the buyer there money back . Its the second time this has happened to us and we are left out of pocket yet again. Paypal is a joke if your selling things they always side with the buyer.

I had exactley the same problem, 0 feedback buyer won, gave a confirmed address. Payment said pending (less than 100quid on paypal so not an Echeque) day after the sale they unregistered. I then gets an email sayin can i please send the item asap as it's my son's friends birthday blah blah. Needless to say it was a straight up scam.

Thats not always the case mate. I sold something and sent it recorded, then the seller opened a dispute saying it was not as described when it clearly was. Paypal refunded them and they still have the item!!! Ive also received payments from people, sent the items out then a week later get an email from paypal syaing dont send the items as the buyers accounts have been involved in suspicious activity, so paypal take the money off me, refund the buyers, and they even keep the item! Paypal is good for the buyer, but a load of bollocks for sellers.

I sold one of our vans to a lithuaian(sp?) last week and he paid twice as much as i was expecting to get , paid via paypal instantly , and sent a driver to pick it up 4 days later
Theyre not all bad , but i would probably be more suspicious if he had little or no feedback .

watch a programme where a guy was selling cb radios, then sending out lesser models than that described.

A trucker decided (after being fobbed off numerous times) to send the guy a parcel - was a frekin bomb!!

Blew the son up!!

Old lady was on the telly saying "he meant no harm, they still got a radio"
