Default Genuine filters or not what would u do

Hi i am about to do a oil and fuel air filter service on my mitsubishi warrior 05 ,i can get a set of filters for £25 ,these are aftermarket parts or genuine misubishi ones can come to £44 ,due to the credit crunch and still got some oil aswell what is my best option o.e. or cheaper ones are there any difference if so what .What would you do please help thanks .

In a Derv i wouldnt worry too much, i used to put tractor oil in my escort van, didnt use it as quick then

In many cases they're built by the same people! I'd get them from a motor factors, and not from ebay though.

So long as it is a major player, well established I would use these, the(new) oe ford ones I cut open were shocking, hence I won't use them now.

After market filters are just as good.I know some car companys use after market filters like framm for example.You could buy a genuine filter and it could have framm stamped on it.
