fookin airbags are for safety - like fuck are they

 

often wondered this. always looks proper violent when they go off. but suppose you would prefer it than sailing through the windscreen at 70mph!

 

Didn't think airbags were supposed to activate if the accident is below 15mph?

I know you get burns on your forearms from the bag going off but plastic shards in the face etc sounds a bit iffy.

Could this be another cabbie knows everything situation. I've had some really intresting conversations with cabbies on the way back from the pub and some of them do talk utter shite.

on and air bags are actually worse for ya if ya dont wear a seat belt os if ya do thatb at timws get the fooekr disconected ( by a pro as its a dangerous thing to attempt guys )

the burns on ya arms also help the old bill convict drink drivers too ( when people smash there car up pissed, leg it hoime and call the old bill in the morning and say there cars been nicked

That's kind of scary, especially if you are doing next to nothing. I heard that the airbag opening does more damage than the actual crash it's self. Makes you want to instal a feather pillow or as you guys would like a real life air bag!!!!

 

ive crahsed and had an airbag go off, didnt get any burns or plastic in my face

 

women driver im guessing, see object, get scared, worried ya gonna crash so take hands off the wheel and cover ya eyes hence the lack of burns and ya never plasic in ya face but hands had problems


i think fitting ablow up doll would be good ( or sheep for spikey )

well as i never use em i wasnt sure what there called, just been told what to do with em, fooker charged me 30 quid for that lesson too

 

ive had the pleasure of an air bag exploding in my face!
I was in my mums old (ie dead ) mk5 escort HOOOONNNING it overtaking a car.. unfortunately there was something coming the otherway about as stupidly quick as i was going! KABOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM the mk4 escort i hit dint have a chance!
he wasnt wearing his seatbelt and obviously didnt have an air bag!
he pushed the windscreen out with his wrist, smashed his knee cap and twatted his head on the steering wheel, which was the only thing stopping him from getting a nasty case of gravel rash as it had bent that far upwards it was only 2 inches from the roof!
my mums car was a little worse for wear.. engine had moved back and BOTH front doors were jammed shut.. (had to climb ou the back door got oil on me new jeans too from the sump that had split! )
i HAD been wearing my seatbelt.. and the airbag had gone off.. i was 100% ok.. didnt even go to hospital.. nothing hurt apart from a bruise on my knee.
If i hadnt of hit the bag i would of been a fucking LOT worse i am sure of that cos i hit the fookin car propper hard!
The airbag was MINT and surprisingly BIG!

lol i had both hands on the wheel thanx. I didnt even hit the bag the seatbelt stopped me before my face went into it. i was still trying to steer with the bag fully inflated lol

ive heard of ppl getting there arm and nose broken buy them, this was cause it went off as there arm was asort over the wheel as they were truning and it went off and pushed there arm into there nose
