Can anyone tell me if you get points & a fine or just a fine for driving the wrong way down a one way street?

My mate just rang and said he has been court in the works van driving the wrong way down a one way road.

Cant seem to find anything on google.

If my memory serves me right it points and a fine.. dont have my FPN card on me

 

Done this loads in lorries, sometimes got no choice!

Got to be points for sure.

 

Must have been a big van, to fit the lawyers, judge, defendant and maybe even a jury in too...

IIRC its a 3 point and 60quid fine for driving up a one way street the wrong way.

Mind you i suppose you'd have to be pretty tunnel-visioned to drive down a one way street without knowing.

 

3 points and a Ł60 fine, my mate got caught down in blackpool last year.
