Chloe was delivered yesterday after 36hrs by caesarean. She was 11days late. Gem had already got to 6cm on her own with no meds, they then gave her an epidural and put her on a hormone drip to speed things up after 28hrs. However after 4hrs she was still at 6cm and the baby's heart was slowing so they performed caesarean. I couldn't be there as she was put to sleep after she felt pain once they begun.

Chloe is 7lb9 and is perfect, they should be home Wed all being well.

I'm so proud of her, she had a very rough time of it.

Thank you for all the kind replies! They are both home and well.

The house is nice and quiet atm while they both have a well deserved rest!

Chloe is on bottles for a couple of days so at least I can do as much as I can while Gem catches up on a bit of sleep. I'm made up, I cannot belive how happy she has made me feel!
