Default Any Ford employees - Warranty question ??

My misses has an 56 plate Fiesta ST (Registered Dec 06). Full ford serive history so far.

The front drivers seat wont tilt foward (like the handle/wire has siezed, and now when you lock it, the mirrors fold in, but the motor on the drivers one keeps trying after it is in place so cluncks about 4 times vibrating the wing mirror.

Would these be fixed under the warranty??

Cheers

Matt

think the mirror should be but think the seat cable will come under interior trims which only carries 12 month warranty, vans carry 3 years on interior trims.

As above. The seat catch is a very common fault on the mk6 fiestas! A friend of mine has his break on a 2 year old fiesta, and that was not covered.

Nah it is quite reasonable, there is just a plastic clip or something that breaks if i remember right, and its an easy job to fix!

ive done a few of the seat cables and you have to take the seat cover off if that is the problem. regarding the mirror my missus went throught the car wash in hers with electric folding mirrors and because the mirrors got folded forward andbackwards they went out of sync, hold them in place when operating the central locking and that sorted hers.
might be completely different but just an idea.

probs looking at an hours labour for the seat as it does require removing the cover and can be quite fiddly, think the cables are under a tenner though.
