So i need to clean up the engine bay of the 4x4 and i was wondering what tips ou might have about getting rid of oil/grease on silicon hoses?

I did some searching and found these vids but wanted to see what you guys would suggest.

wd40 or warm water with some washing up liquid

 

yeh...... wd 40 is tops.....

 

dont use petrol as i did. burnt the lining on the inside of my nose use soapy water which i did afterwards comes up a treat.nose was sore for a WEEK.!!!

im another fan of wd40 it removes oil and leaves the hoses like new

 

clit bang "BANG" And the dirt is gone ,wd40 imo lol

 

WD40.leaves them looking nice and shinny.

If there really minging, wheel cleaner, then polish back up with Auto Glym Instant Show Shine

 

swarfega works a treat, then wash it off
