Default had a minor accident in the car ...fookin people

the wifey had a newish laguna diesel, shes been going on for ages for somin sporty and a car came my way just happened to be the day before her birthday too so what a result lol

anyways its a golf gti turbo thingy fookin mint inside out a real cracker of a car so we insures it and off we go for our couple nights away in a swanky hotel and shopping etc.

going up the road a dosy fookin bird came from the inside lan swerbved right out i hit the anchors move over othger way as far as a ican and she stil managed to hit us

not the end of the world its a minor dent / scrape to the wing a cheap easy repair seing that i also do paintwork i knew wouldnt be a problem

takes her details off of her for insurance and she mentions possibility of settling outside and not involving insurance, not wanting to take the piss i called her later that eve and said there is a local place that will do it for me for £150

nothing is it i though i was being nice, ill repair it myseflf and put a drink in my pocket, but nooooo she was argusing over the fookin price !!!! so bollocks to her i told her im going through insurance

so caled em and explained, ive now got to wait and find out of shes gonna accept liability, if she doesnt ive instructed my company not to take it further and ill get it done myself as i know our excess is £300

but why the fuck should i, she hit us , the wife was quite upset over her beautiful car being damaged and too right too as it really is a nice old thing, if she argues the toss looks like were loosing out

fooking coont cock sucking people

The problem with insurance is 9 out of 10 times it comes down to people honesty and 9 out of 10 times they will do not admit liability even if it is blatently there fault, plus most people dont think it was there fault so wont admit liability cause they genuinly believe they did fuck all wrong when they did

If you "suddenly" discover your neck hurts etc, then a claim would be a very good idea, for the car and you/other half, Roosie off here deals with this and the company is the best one I have ever met, just a thought.

Also most of the insurance companys are linked some way or another and are quite happy to go 50/50, biggest foookin con ever.

a bad thought imo. it's that kind of claim that pushes up all of our premiums

The claim would be going nowhere had she known how to drive.

The bloke that hit my brother in the side causing this;

Despite the guy behind my brother being an unmarked police car and the police prosecuting him for driving without due care he still claimed te accident was my brothers fault. Twats everywhere

Pointless doing a whiplash claim if you dont have it, as come the day you have real whiplash and you need the money cos you cant work, youll be screwed because in most cases you cant claim it twice

Insurance is a con though end of. You get smashed into and its not your fault yet your premium still goes up as your a higher risk Id love to know how they figure that out the only way that works is when they insurance blame everyone regardless of "legal" fault.

Id love an insurance company to honestly answer how it can justify hiking premiums in a non fault (other company paid out) situation and answer how they can logically prove that being bashed into in a NON FAULT makes it More likely youll get bashed into again

I've had 4 whiplash claims from being rear ended 5 times in 9 years, including one by a plod car.
I am of the opinion if there is a fault it should be apprtioned to the person responsible.
I hear people who say "that's what puts our premiums up", but has anyone ever got a refund when the insurer did well with less claims, don't all rush to put your hands up!!

im more thinking about not doing a clai for the money side of it its just that you will have a solicitor working for you because you know she is going to come back saying its not her fault and you will just have you fighting agains the other side were as you will have our solicitors fighting for you against there insurance.

Surely that's going to push up premiums more than fixing a scratch on a car!
Fair enough if you genuinely are injured, but the amount of people that suddenly discover they have whiplash is ridiculous. Takes the piss

Never get why people can settle for a small sum, but choose to say no and go through insurance, their excess will be more than that let alone the premium next year.

Even if it is 50/50 then they still pay out more than that. Some people are numpties.

That case will end 50/50 imo so best not to chase, only trouble is that now you have to declare that accident when you renew even though there may be no claim as they ask you "any accidents in the last 5 years?" and as you have contacted them, I would imagine it is on record.

if you don't have a claim you shouldn't have to stump up ANOTHER years premium to make sure that nothing happens

but when you DO have a fault accident, the premium should go up proportionaly to the claim that was made

just look at al these peole who drive about with no insurance because they can't afford £1000 a year to pay for it, forking out once would solve it all and you'd be more likely to be covered than not
