Default non fault accident hire cars,, blimey i`m impressed,,

well my pregnant g/f was in a rta today...

was rear ended this morning with my daughter in the car aswell..

rung me in tears and was worried about her and me littlen...

anyway took them to casualty to get them checked out and all ok so far...

We get home and she rings the insurance company to get it all sorted, well within a few hours they have sorted a hire car, authorised reparers for the car... to go in next week...

then an hour later get a call from Drive assist to sort the non fault accident hire car... to be delivered within the hour,,,

well was expecting a basic fiesta focus etc....

what turns up,,, well not that exciting,, but a astra diesel...

oh a SRI 1.9 CDTI 150 XP...

Body kit, 18`s 150 brake... sport button,,,, shifts compared to our 115 bhp focus,,,

so a mad day all round,,, but main thing is that there all well.....

That sounds like you went to DWS.

If so, check the repair quality afterwards

drive assist gave my mate an 08 jag when his 51 vectra diesel went in a few weeks ago.he wasnt impressed because of the fuel economy and something to do with paying some extra on his insurance or the cost of car hire if the claim wasnt settled in his favour.it turned out ok tho.

they bill the 3rd party to fuck, thats why you get a decent car.

When I had my ST170 in the bodyshop due to someone running into the rear of my car, HelpHire sorted me with a Lexus IS 220D SE - very nice car but drinks a lot of fuel!

as above
i used helphire when my shogun got written off
got a brand new shogun the next day and had it for 4 months
must have been 1 hell of a bill that the other insurance ended up paying
but helphire comes highly recommended by me anyhow

The thing i hate about hire cars is if you get one stone chip they claim on your car insurance for the damage.
