Ive got about £1500 for a winter hack/track toy what do you think I should go for ?

Short list so far
MK2 golf 16V
Clio 172
Corrado 16V

also there is a Mi16 205 on ebay fo about 1800 ?

Thoughts and opinions please ?

 

i'd go for the 205 mi16 1st than the mk2 golf gti 16 valve 2nd or a mk2 gte 16valve also a good option

or if you want a cheaper winter hack with some fun, the astra thats for sale in the cars section looks big fun, and will hardly be slow.

or a nice astra van, or a discovery - both sat outside on my driveway

 

my bro's jus had a bargain, 205 gti rally car. full roll cage, seats harnesses, all map lights and cut off switches. rust free body, still a bit rough lookin. but only paid £500.

 

How cool does that look !!! might be a good possibility as long as gsi suspension fit etc ???

Had a hint i might be gettin a company car april time as well as an interestin PM over our recent text message i gave you, so this would become a pure track toy eventually !!
