Clocks removal tips?

Clocks removal tips?
Having removed all the screws I guess it's the speedo cable that's keeping them in place. How the hell do you access it? it's pretty tight!!

push as much cable through as you can from the engine bay then get your hand through and unplug it, its still a struggle though

I found removing the heater vent to the right of the clocks made it it a little easier, its still a stuggle especially with big hands lol

It`s easy to remove the end from driveshaft side, then you got more space to disconect it from instrument board

Pulling the adjustable steering column all the way out also helps
I once forgot to do thata nd was wondering why the hell the clocks won't clear the steering wheel

I have to do this myself soon, change inverter to instrument light.

yeah was piece of cake
Changed inverter now so the dials finally light up. But the fcking dials are blotchy as hell! Crap!

I have 2 instrument board, but now bought of them without light. I have wonder of bying birba dials, but i don`t think you get the light function, that change color like oe ones, on them

I maybe go for birba to. Got my new Compomotive wheels yesterday, maybe try them on before winter came on full
