Is it possible to baffle my sump myself? i know a good welder is it easy to do??

Yes if you know what needs doing it can be done

 

im having my sump redone, it will be bolt-in instead of welded in like before

just to make cleaning it easier if the worst happens

 

any pics of the baffles?

Spoke to Karl about this when collecting my engine from him last April,and he said there's no need for a baffled sump on a RST as ford did a good design in the 1st place.I agree with him,as I've been doing trackdays since 1995 in RST's and have never had any problems regarding oil starvation.Regards,Micky
