Default Anyone with a recovery truck/Flatbed

Just a general cheeky enquiry,
Is there much to be made doing it?
How do you charge, like a call out then per mile on top?

Seen 1 or advertised, and talking to a mate we are half thinking of giving it a go between us.

Cheers
G

there's alot involved looked into it myself. if you do police recovery which pays well you have to have a locked compound that has 24hr access for them when ever they want. and than u have to go on to insurance databases i think for recovery for crashes that dont involve police

Chuff to that police lark, too much required up front.

I am just on about man and recovery van kinda thing, picking up and shifting non insured, just boughts, non runners, scrappers, broken down fords from trackdays and the lark.

Any motor trade insurer will sort you out.

Chap along the road from me makes his cash from moving cars to the scrapper, but for him it's just a part time income.
