Hi guys im not too up on RS Turbo s and need to know if the underbonnet sound proofing/ insulation has a silver foil heat sheild above the turbo?
As trying to get 1 for a mate and ford said they show it not having the heat sheild.
I suppose with the turbo being under the manifold its not so close to the bonnet.

yes the S2 did have a silver foil type heat shield on the under bonnet sound proofing!!

 

The heatshield is built into the sound-deadening (by that, I mean it is firmly stuck into the felt) when made.

Ford do not show it separately because it is not available separately.

Shame you are so far away as I am sure I have one laying around somewhere
