who has water injecion
as above and where dos it inter you inlet system?
i have it fitted to my s2 it was previously in the cross over like this

i want to move where it enters the inlet system it as i have changed the crossover and don't want to drill it i had 2 ideas
firstly to the dump valve t piece

i have concerns that it may be 2 far away and in it mix with the air correctly
2nd place is on the throttle body

i have concerns about this being 2 close
option 3 of one of the revo tec self sealing things that go in the silicone hose
any light that can be shed on this would be of grate help

well i dint fit the water injection in that place performance ford did and done an arse load of testing with it, i rely didnt want to put it in the cross over but seems thats my only option,
Appie what sort performance gains do get the methanol? that sounds a good idea, although i am using t as a safety

Read this, interesting bit of info!
Many water injection systems use a mixture of water and alcohol (approximately 50/50), with trace amounts of water-soluble oil. The water provides the primary cooling effect due to its great density and high heat absorption properties. The alcohol is combustible, and also serves as an antifreeze for the water. The purpose of the oil is to prevent corrosion of water injection and fuel system components. [1] Because the alcohol mixed into the injection solution is often methanol (CH3OH), the system is known as methanol-water injection, or MW50. In the United States, the system is commonly referred to as anti-detonant injection, or ADI

The methanol is mixed with water as it offers additional properties including the fact that it reduces the ease at which the water will freeze during cold winter months.
I personally do not think you see any gains unless you are using the water injection to overcome failings in your induction cooling
mine was mainly fitted as the car used to run 20psi (not down to me tho) but i like the idea of the methanol thing as ive only ever filled it with water, as my reservoir is the washer bottle lol
where can i buy the menthol water mix stuff or u gotta make it your self?
oh and its not a mappable kit just boost pressure

i think screen wash contains methanol
its something like this
i have it fitted to my new engine, 1- cos i already had the bits and 2- cos i would rather have ith and never need it, then not have it and do need it
if that makes sense

Check chemical suppliers, they will sell it to you if you state the reason why you want it.
I would never have a kit solely dependant upon boost pressure as the water would be injected way to often for my liking, not to mention you actually have no idea if the car is going to start detonating and when it really needs the water, you may have none left as every time your car boosts it uses some. Decent kits measure ACT for a reason.

I use the aquamist kit on a mirror header tank, mapped against boost and act, I personally think very highly of this kit.

I use the methanol used in model aircraft or medical grade methanolas its very high quality, cheaper methanol I have used seems less refined.
