The one with the grey label, is it ok to use this on the silver bits around the grill etc?

Yup. Metal polish for metal, regular polish for painted surfaces

The clue is in the name mate. 'Metal' polish tends to work on 'metal' as opposed to plastic...................

Get some T-Cut on the plastic grille and it'll bring it right up.

if you read the back of the bottle ive got here your wrong, it says ALL polishable metals, so yeah thats self explanatory as you say, it then goes on to say cars-: hub caps, headlamp rims, mudguards.

so its plastic stuff aswell apparently.
