Hi all
Have posted this in technical section as well, but i believe that my bonnet release cable has snapped and so cannot release the bonnet at all!
Does anyone know how i can get the bonnet open so that i can replace the cable? Have tried manouvering my hand to try and release something but there just simply isnt enough room.
can anyone help??

lol what end has it snapped? if lever end then grab it with pliers!?

 

put the car on a ramp and pull the cable from underneath. bit tricky but can be done

Agreed with Dave, happened to mine at national day, but once you get it up in the air it's a piece of piss!

 

jack the front up a bit, get a hammer, hold the head of it in your hand
so the handle pokes out in the direction of your fingers, place your arm
up in the engine bay (behind passenger headlight) you should be able to
reach the lever what the cable go's in with the shaft of the hammer handle.
