Default fiesta cuts out... not vss, any ideas?

my car cuts out... i tohught it was the vss but its not

if i leave the car idling it will idle indefinately
if i go for a drive it will cut out when i brake to a low road speed (hence me thinking it was the vss)
if i unplug the tps the car stalls as it should, if i unplug the maf sod all happens
also if i rev it up then close the throttle while standing still it stalls

i'm thinknig i should try another tps, but not sure thats the fault

I would look at the PCV valve and pipework to that first, as it sounds as though it is super lean around idle/low speed, very common problem on some.

It's not supposed to stall if you unplug the TPS.

At what RPM it stalls...
What is the lowest rpm that the engine is working on? If it cant hold 800-900 RPM then the camshaft is getting worse...

But if it surges ~500 RPM then you should adjust IDLE screw to 900 RPM with the IAC valve plugged...
