My S2 is definitly for sale, as I want to get an S4.
Im not going to beat around the bush, when I bought it it was a dog with ALOT of problems!
I have since spent a silly amount of money on it to transform it to what you see here:

This thread covers all mods and any work done to it, with dozens of pics:

Tax is due end of August, so will probably have 6 months by the time its sold
MOT due sometime in March/April.
It failed the last mot on a blocked washer jet, head light aim, and a split steering rack boot. No other advisories atall.

New tailgate handle modded for panel
New front and rear S2 badges

New rear aero wiper
New rear load cover
New 1.8T coils with 034 Motorsport loom

Rear window rubber metal joint colour coded
Homefry chip
There are probably some other bits Ive missed too!
Remote central locking, electric windows, mirrors and sunroof
I have tons of reciepts and paperwork, which includes most work being done by Audi dealers. Nearly all mot's present.

Rolling road power run done 2 weeks ago:

Outstanding work:
I have swapped the entire interior from cream to black, everything is
done apart from the dashboard, simply because I have not had the time
to do it yet!
At the same time there are afew simple things that need sorting, which
are alot easier while the dash is out.
These are, swapping afew of the dash bulbs that have blown, fitting a
new ignition barrel, and modifying the headlight relay as it thinks
the bulbs not work due to fitting HIDs.
All of these are very easy to do, and are all documented well on
www.S2forum.com if I dont get round to doing the dash, it would
obviously be included in the sale, along with a brand new ignition
barrel and 3 spoke steering wheel.
The front passenger door card needs removing just to free the locking
pin which is slightly rubbing.
This does not affect the doors locking atall.
The central locking pump is alittle tired (common problem on old
Audis) and sometimes doesnt lock the doors when you use the remote. If
you use the key in the lock it works fine.
Finally, the front pads need some new anti squeel paste on the rear of
them as they get abit noisey when on long journeys (very common issue
with the Porsche Brembos!)
I am looking for £5k, no offers.

Abit more spec....
2.2 20v 5 cylinder turbo with external wastegate
6 speed box
4x4
0-60: 6 secs
150mph
Cosworth performance without the reliabilty issues, security risks or high insurance!
You can tune these cars to 6-700bhp.
Spend 1500 quid and it will be better than RS2 spec running 350bhp on the standard bottom end, no need for rebuilds or steal rods etc.
The transmission will handle that sort of power too as it is 100% bombproof.
Massive tuning potential and scope for peanuts
Rarity factor: only 320 S2 Avants ever made!
I maintain a register for them on s2forum.com and so far have found 94 cars, only 3 of which are in the same colour as mine.
VERY rare colour
Mileage isnt an issue, plenty of them are running big power over at well over 200k

Cheers mate
I hope it sells quick as I might have found a replacement sooner than I was expecting!
Might be open to offers over the weekend if plans come together

It usually sits around 22mpg, that is a mixture of town, A road, crusing on the A14 and some good old fashioned fun on the boost!
On a run it can get 30+ if you drive it carefully.
Having the 6 speed box, it cruises effortlessly all day long at any speed you wish

The only thing they suffer from is boost leaks, mine had loads when I got it, but it holds at 17psi now and has all the mods done such as the silcon hose to replace the crap 'o' ring between the crossmember boost pipe and intercooler.
The coilpacks can fail, which are about £350 for a set, they also have to be soldered in and a new loom made up from scratch.
Mine has a custom loom from America which is plug and play for 1.8t coils which are only £30 a set!

I was going to say that 1.8 coils are dirt cheap lol
Really gutted its come up for sale at this time, not a hope in hell I can even afford that.
Best of luck with the sale though, someone will get themselves a lovely looking car
