Default Alternator fitting help please

Just got to the stage of putting the alternator onto my turbo that im building up and the alternator ive bought from a motor factors seems to have its lugs a little bit wider apart than that of the bracket. Shall i put a couple of washers in there? Also, and this is the main thing, the pulley of the alternator doesnt line up 100% with the bottom pulley of the engine, does this matter or is there gonna be times when u wouldnt necessarily be able to get it 100%.

Silly question i know, but this is the first time ive done anything like this.

I havent got the old one unfortunately as im building the car up from a shell. I assume its the right one, its the only choice the computer gave. I'll have to have another play and see if i can get it sitting further over with a coule of washers maybe.

your missing the dowel, i bought one new and it was missing so kicked the altenator off to one side, took dowl out of old one put in on correct side and was ok, washers will be fine though just make sure its straight, mine was a fraction out on the rs2k engine and squeaked like a bastard till i adjusted it.
