to be honest there's nowhere in our area that is worth going to, everyone travels down south to have the mapping/setups done... this is for a reason... cant fault Stu @ MSD from all the good work he's done to peoples cars on here

I use Matt @ The Racing Line in Halifax for my Evo because its the closest place to South Shields with a good reputation.

I went there with my rst over 10 years ago and they didn't know one end of the car from the other, they said the missfire was the plugs replaced them and it still missfired, they then said it was because it had too much boost (it was running 16psi!) I then took the car all the way to turbo systems who found the fault straight away, t pacs had fitted splitfire plugs!! a quick plug change and I was on my way home again with a smooth runing rst, had to drive 350 miles round trip to change the plugs lol
I was young and daft back then!

Wouldnt be happy with that mate. This is my 1st RS and aint got much knowlage about them, needed fueling seting up on a RR and basicly just went to them being localish. They did a good job as far as i know and running 15psi with no problems up to now (you got me paranoid now). The guy at Tpacs said he had done loads of RS Turbos and knew all about them, so is he full of shit then or what?????

The real question is are you happy, how did they treat you and your car.. The issue was experienced over 10 years ago and as such I would expect that possibly many of the staff have changed, I know I have never stayed in a Job for 10 years.

I had many problems myself with a different tuning company local to me years ago but now its being run by different people, its not the same place....

Im not for a moment supporting any company, just being objective

I honestly think they did a good job, the lads there were very friendly and seemed to know what they were going on about. My motor is running better than it did when i got it (about 5 months ago), idles perfectly and is noticeably quicker. Has anyone else used Turbopacs Durham recently??

Ive mentioned it before mate, I have heard alot of horror stories about these lot, dating back to when they were based on cold hesleden ind est, to present day, Ive heard about them killing countless scoobys n evos etc.

Do you know anywhere local thats half decent??? my mate takes his scooby somewhere in Birtley??? but obviously a scooby is totally diffrent to an RS

DO NOT USE ANYONE AROUND HERE!

Seriously mate you'll regret it.

If you want your car to run mint, book it in at MSD in blackpool.
I know it's abit far but trust me, I've tried most places around here and there all shit.

An old post but Turbo pacs robbed Ł1400 from me about 6 years ago and the 'reconned' turbo failed shortly after..... Still think about causing the pair of idiots harm.
