right built engine back up,,getting fuel to the fuel filter then to the metering unit, and to the cold start pipe, but no fuel out of the other 4 pipes that feed the injectors, any help please, the metering unit was workin before

 

Have you checked the washers are there that go on the metering head that the injection pipes go to?

 

are they the copper ones that are on the bolts?

I have just put an rs turbo in my cab and i went through all this palarva with mine......
















Turned out it just needed new plugs, leads, dizzy, rotor arm and struck her up and she ran..

If it werent for a mate suggesting it then i would be still ragging fuel lines to pieces and god knows....



Have you had injectors out and turned the car over so the injectors spray out?

 

sure they are ok took the pipes off the top of the metering unit and there aint any fuel cuming out,so not even getting to the injectors mate,,,

 

had this before when it was turning over but not firing up.fuel there etc.in the end had to jump start the car and it was fine after that.god knows what it was.

yeh mate couldnt understand it.tried different metering heads etc and it didnt work.just got ma mate to tow the car and first bump and away it went.was fine after that.weird.

 

hopefully mate, bit of a pain gotta bleed brakes put drive shafts it new clutch cable few other bits

 

yeh a know its so depressing when they wont go.makes you lose heart but gota look forward till when it fires up.fingers crossed for you mate.

as said on your thread make sure boost pipes are on.

Also as said above a tow start may be needed. i had a full tank and was jump starting it for ages but nothing. got a mate to tow start me and it fired up.
