The Input Shaft Bearing needs replacing on my T5 gearbox, can you suggest someone or a company to carry out the repair ??

I live near Basingstoke in Hampshire.

Cheers

do it yourself if your half handy with a spanner; the bearing will cost between 15-20.

a garage will charge you an arm and a leg to remove a box and refit, its all labour basically - input shaft bearing are fairly easy to do, i done one 2 weekends ago

i can give you a few pointers if need be

Hi Mate,

Yeah I will remove the box myself, but according to the Ford T5 Manual I need a special tool to fit the new bearing ??

Is this correct ??
