Great racing though, reminds me of Edwards and Bayliss at the last round of WSB back in 2002 - bumper to bumper with loads of overtakes and near misses!

Deffo fun to watch, who's taking bets on who will win though?

Casey seems more erratic, but to my mind quicker despite following Rossi everywhere.....

Rossi will prob just do a last 3 laps at double pace and blow him away!

Good race, not that we saw much of anyone else!

Shame toseland lost 2 places at the very end though, still not too bad at 9th though considering the tyres werent suited.

Also, i think there 'may' have been a bit of dirty play by rossi on the corner that stoner went in the gravel. It 'looked' like he deliberatly braked harder/sooner than necessary meaning stoner had to go wide to avoid hitting him up the chuff. That may explain why stoner seemed pissed off at the end of the race, either that or it was due to rossi's dodgy corkscrew manouver!

 

Stoner is not a gracefull loser. Instead of celebrating his second place in the championship and the race he sulks.
Didn't congratulate Rossi untill on the podium and even there it was a very flimsy gesture.

Poor show of character. Rossi is always the first to congratulate anyone with a proper result, even if that means getting beaten for the championship!

 

According to BBC Stoner said he thought the overtaking at the beginning was too dangerous.

I must have missed that bit in video, not good for stoner to ignore rossi's handshake offer. Just makes him look even more of a tosser! I think rossi's much more clever than people think and i certainly think that the handshake offer 'may' have been done on purpose in front of the camera to make stoner look worse.

Ah well, shit happens, it just makes the next race even more interesting now, which is what us fans want at the end of the day.

 

 

Stunning race last night, Rossi hasn't ridden that hard for a long time! Absolutely superb motorcycle race!

Gutted Lorenzo dropped it, AGAIN! He needs to calm down and get back on the pace that boy

Stoner is sore loser, I so fucking hope he doesn't win another title this year, sure the kid can ride but I think alot of the winning is the bike he's got, and more to the point being a ducati it's the power he's got, Rossi just showed that isn't everything, LEGEND!

 

As well as the power, its the way the ducatis traction control works that helps him.
when you watch the logging as the ride with throttle and braking, casey is at WOP much earlir the rossi even though rossi was ahead on track!

 

Reminded me of Rossi v Gibernau a couple of years ago. When the chips are down, Rossi will pull it out of the bag and really push hard, within limits though

Awesome race! Was disapointed that Stoner fell as the last lap could have been legendary. Still he shouldnt have been such a wanker afterwards, it was just good hard racing

 

ha ha...rossi and his mindgames........what class,stoner must have felt like a complete twat when he saw the race repeated......fancy not shakeing his hand tut tut,me thinks rossi has won more than just the race..........lol

 

And Rossi's quote after that race was just classic when he said he only races so Sete will never win another race, and he never did.
