got woke up by the dog at 2.30am she has been coughing since late Friday & we thought she had eat something & irritated her throat ( she eats allsorts from the garden )

anyway she was wandering about downstairs & whimpering so we new something was up.we went down to find her panting & struggling for breath mich phoned the emergency vets & they asked if we could get her strait down there. after a check he wanted to keep her in for chest ex-rays to find the problem.

after a restless couple of hours they rang us & told us she had a bad bronchial infection & that we had got her there just in time as it could have turned to pneumonia & that would have been life threatening.
theysaid we could go for her at dinner time after she had had iv antibotics & a good rest

she also has to have 12 intibiotic tablets for the next week & a check up at our vets on wed

she seems happy now & is breathing a lot better but we have to keep an eye on her for the next couple of weeks

sat looking sorry for herself at dinner time when we got her home with her babndage on her leg off the drip

mich said when she got up this morn with jacob he was sat in his chair on the breakfast bar looking at tia's bed confused cos she wasnt there

 

our little fella has a chest infection hes 3 months old sounds like a smoker when he wakes up in the morning lol. on the antibiotics too!

 

my dog is sick at the moment

we have to wait until tomorrow and she's gonna need putting down. her back legs have gone and she's messed her bed. gutted.

i'm trying not to think about tomorrow. glad yours is ok mate its so upsetting when they go.

 

hope shes gonna be ok fella , , glad to see some people care bout there pets , alot of people would of just been ohh shes getting old,

she is only 3 but so glad we got her as she has already had both cruciate ligaments fail needing 2 opps & has artheritis in her front joints if she had gone to a none careing fammily she could just be sat in pain

 

sorry to hear that i have been through it a couple of times with family pets as i grew up it dosent get any easyer
