got woke up by the dog at 2.30am she has been coughing since late Friday & we thought she had eat something & irritated her throat ( she eats allsorts from the garden )

anyway she was wandering about downstairs & whimpering so we new something was up.we went down to find her panting & struggling for breath mich phoned the emergency vets & they asked if we could get her strait down there. after a check he wanted to keep her in for chest ex-rays to find the problem.

after a restless couple of hours they rang us & told us she had a bad bronchial infection & that we had got her there just in time as it could have turned to pneumonia & that would have been life threatening.
theysaid we could go for her at dinner time after she had had iv antibotics & a good rest

she also has to have 12 intibiotic tablets for the next week & a check up at our vets on wed

she seems happy now & is breathing a lot better but we have to keep an eye on her for the next couple of weeks

sat looking sorry for herself at dinner time when we got her home with her babndage on her leg off the drip
