Default Escort Cossie uprated in tank pumps. Question

What uprated in tank fuel pump are available and what power will the standard escort cossie tump support.
I have a 24V Sierra which i'm looking to get around 300bhp+ from. It has the intank fuel pump which i'm sure by the look of it is the same as the escort cossie one. Don't want to change to external pumps if i can help it. But if needs must i will.

Cheers

Rob

a bosch 003 or a 023 would do you.

i have one on my car and it was running 420-430, so well up to the job.

saying that....i have to get a swirl pot and a group A sierra one on mine aswell...more fuel needed for me.

Walbro ITP 048 if your going to make the power with sub 5.5bar fuel pressure.

For over 350bhp or to make power with over 5.5bar then i agree 100% with Dave. (023)

well if you go for the bosch pump it will not be a straight fit anyway.

you will have to get a fitting kit off Mike R, then fit it in.

if you go for the Walbro one, then it will be a standard escort cos fitment.

i think your fitment will be the same as any Ford.

if you want to go for an 023 i have a spare sat here.

was in my car for about a year and now sat redundant.

let me know, but if you do want it id say half price of a normal brand knew one - then its just the fitting kit from Mike R.

I had a 023 intank and it was fine until around 380atw then started to go lean as the pump maxed out.
