Did escort cosworth rally cars have to change there speedos to 150mph ones due to rally regulations????

nope, as the rally car was homologated via the road version, so would have had the same 170 mph road car clocks, in group N spec at least...

My Std LHDer reads to 265 km/h & I've seen 1 car fitted with Wolf Racing instruments that read to 300km/h.
