What Gearbox oil and diff oil should I be putting in a Escort Cosworth?

Just put Silkolene synthetic 75/90 in mine

i put mobil synthetic in mine.....both the same for each.

I put different oil in the transfer box to the gear box, castrol from matt lewis for both but they were definitely different.

they are ment to be different Mart, but the ATF that is supposed to go in the diff is not really up to it, so the same oil in mine for both.

I'm sure their was a post in GD that said 75/90 synthetic in everything even though the manual says differently.

would it be the same syn 75/90 in a straight cut box??

mines a straight cut box and i got advised to use it by the person who made my box.

same oil in the gearbox and transfer box, as mentioned by Mr Barra himself.

as kelv and dave said same oil in both transfer and gearbox

and must be fully synthetic on uprated boxes

if you have a uprated plated rear diff then you need to use 80/140 synthetic oil

if not the 75/90 wil be good enough

hi mate

same again a good quality (silkolen ect)fully synthetic 75w/90w for the FFD or Xtrac
