Have you tried pressing the open button on the fob twice?

We have this trouble all the time at work, the battery in the fob has soldered connections and if it's dropped a few times it breaks. We have spares but I've heard if you use the key in the drivers lock you can open the back doors.

Try reseting the fob by turning the ignition on and off 8 times then press any button on the fob

is it one of the intergrated fobs or one of them cheap ass tacky looking additions?
if it's intergrated then it's the fob that needs sorting
possible reset should do it

if it's the spare fob thingy then it's probably the battery that's knackered

As said above, insert the key into the drivers door lock, lock the doors, then unlock the doors, then turn the key to unlock again. This will unlock the rear and side doors. Unless you have a blown fuse or some other problem obviously!

The new Transit keyfobs charge up as you drive although they are proving very unreliable and there is a recall to rectify this, check your local dealer, you may need this recall.

Cheers, Karl

i have been doing the 2 turn thing all week as the keyfob only works when it feels like it however it now gets even more complicated,

i was pissing around with the fob and managed to get all the doors locked, problem now is they wont open again not even by using the key in the door!

If the doors no longer unlock with the key then chances are the fuse has blown.
The fuse box is behind the glove box, there are 2 fuse boxes, one in front of the other, the fuse is in the rear fuse box, on the bottom row, 15amp, i'd check there first mate.
