Exclamation problem with peugeot 106 starting issues! advise.

my friends mum has a staring issue with the peugeot 106, it will start, run for a minute or so, or less and cut out, sometimes it will not start at all. is there a particular problem with these type of cars? its a S plate so i think its 1998?

i know all the hotspots to look for but if you know they have a common problem then please advise me please.

the engine wiring loom can rub through on these from memory it is under the ns chassis leg at the front of the engine bay, may be this causing your probs?

just in front ofthe bulkhead on the N/S there is a big red button..Thats a fuel cut off.. Check wiring to that.. AND give it a few presses.. IF it clicks, then its set it self off for some reason..... Just a thought,as this happend on a Saxo i did...

Pete...
