Cold start valve

Cold start valve
When you unplug the cold start valve what do you use to cover both ends? as i read that petrol comes out one end when you crank the engine cold

take the electrical plug off the cold start valve, blue i THINK and it will render it innop

I have taken the plug off but do i need to cover it with something or just leave it lying there?

thats up to you, i would stop the contacts in the loom plug going funny.

aye jus leave it lying, but tbh the best thing to do would be to fix the old start valve, eithe rits electrical feed or the valve itself!
