i need to change another gearbox on my erst but i dont know witch one to go for? i've had 2 lsd's and at the mo it has got a diesel box in. i just want something that aint gonna break in a hurry. any advise would be greatly appricated.

 

The only way thats going to happen is to get an uprated box from the gearbox man or the likes. But that dont guarantee that it aint going to brake and you will be paying upwards of £1000.

And just for the record diesel boxes are no stronger than a normal rs box contrary to the myth about them being stronger

 

Im sure CTS(Gearboxman) does one for aoround 500 which is uprated but with the std erst lsd. The ones for 1000+ is the stg2 which i have and comes with a quaife diff then there is a stg2+ which shot peened

 

Maybe a few years back they were around £500 notes but not now for just the uprated rs box is around £700-800 and i think that was exchange

the website prices are well out of date as when i had a quote about 2 months ago the total price with delivery and collection of exchange box was over £700
