Default fitment of piper 285t2 and vernier

right if i fitted this cam with a vernier pulley whats the best sort of base timing mark to set it to? 0? +10? before it gets set up?and do i have to mod anything like pistons or platforms to get the t2 running in a std engine?(ie std compression, head valves etc.....)

set it up to the standard timing marks first & then get your car setup. who ever does the setup can play with the timing to find the best setting
