I have question about wastegate actuator, I buy chipped ecu, so now I will run about 1 bar of boost, and have one actuator from some t3 turbo from nissan. so just want to know if possible to test actuator with air pump (with pressurre gauge on it) , so pump air in actuator and see when it start to leak air?


Edit: Will cosworth actuator fits on rs turbo?

 

Just attach a length of silicon hose from the pressure guage the the outlet on the actuator . Pump up the pressure until the rod on the actuator starts to move and till its right open and it will let you know the pressure of the spring.
