Fitting a Kent CVH35 camshaft...which followers?
Should come as a kit, if it's a second hand cam then you need the lifters that it's been running with, and you need to know which cam lobe went with which lifter otherwise they will rip each other apart!
Nerver use an old cam with new lifters, or vice versa!!!

as above plus you'll need an adjustable pulley to time it right and unless you are around the 230 bhp figure then the standard cam is fine and with the kent you will get what feels like slightly more lag as the cam is wilder
Cheers, think I'll stay away from that then... I've been looking at Newman Cams also, but their website only really shows a phase 4 cam (which looks a wild and aimed towards track use)? I'm building a ZVH engine for my kit car that should reach around the 220bhp mark...I've read lots on this forum about Kents and Pipers wearing out quickly, and I'm unsure on which Newman profile to go for...maybe I should stick to a standard cam then?
well a mate of mine built one with a kent cvh 32 it was a zvh 2.0l engine non turbo and that ran fine you can get just the cams or just the fitting kits or the whole lot from burton power
