Zetec into Mk4 Escort..... wiring loom etc...
Fitting a 2.0 silvertop into my MK4 Escort just now.
EDIT:
update as posted below:
Not in place yet, but getting there!
Old CVH engine out and Zetec alternator in situ with the CVH mount and just the belt to go on now...
Wiring loom now to be sussed....... seems to be too many connectors and no obvious power feed.
Anyone got a wiring diagram/guide/tips?!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Need to know what belt to use if removing the powersteering pump, also if anyone has a diagram of what route the belts (or belts) that would be a great help.
The engine was already converted to run in a MK6 Escort, but unsure if the water pump etc has been changed from teh original setup....
Any idea/help much appreciated!

easiest way is to fit a mk 3 fiesta alternator bracket and alternator with a zetec pulley on the alternator for the ribbed belt
i think thats the way to do it
i did it your way but i carnt remember the part number fro the belt, ill ask my mate to see if he has it

ok the part number for a ribbed belt to be used in a mk4 escort if using all zetec stuff bar p/s pump is
Qbr61448 and is made by QH (quinton hazzle)
so just remove p/s pump and fit this belt and you wont have any trouble

I and was going to phone you as well as I thought you'd know
Nice one, we worked this out soon after I posted.... CVH alternator bracket going on, and XR2i zetec belt.
There was also meant to be a air con pulley on the engine too but it had been robbed.... so that confused things a bit.
Will check part numbers with the above number too, cheers!
