I'm looking to replace it with a decent steel one. what's the recommended make and the same for head bolts. Also one final question, where can i buy them both from ?
Thanks.

when he says not true he means the head is more than likely warped causing the gasket to fail- the ford/payen one is proven to 300+ bhp so i'm sure it'll do the job just be sure to have the head checked and skimmed if needed

Right, i have decided the cars coming off the road for a full engine rebuild and restoration of the engine bay. Watch the project section for updates.
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the help.
Standard gasket with standard bolts torqued according hayness. I do run 21 psi on that for five years already do you need any other proof. But as said above check why she went there has to be something wrong, they don't go just like that.
