As the title asks really.Having just picked up a ticket for going a bit too fast I wondered about going that little bit further and buying a jammer to fook the feds off.do they work and if so whats the best one to get.cheers for lookin.

i know there not illegal if u have a garage cos they're used to open the doors from the car when u drive up

 

Thats what i heard Chris.Dont care if they are illegal anyway mate.I am sick of the councils and coppers makin money out of us and wouldnt hesitate to use one.I wish they could "fry" laser guns and the users too.

 

i heard its just a sensor that sits under ur regi plate or that area they were reviewed on 5th gear a while ago,

there jst advertised as openers for ur garage aswell.

bewlive it or not i actually pass 9 speed cameras on the way to work too and 5 on the way back

buy a 1300 escort then speeding aint a issue as ya just gonna get the hump when ya discover that laser jammers only owrk on the handheld guns that are used in essex and norfolk as the other councils are radar

oh and they do fook all on mobile speed cameras too which is what caught ya out


ya best line of defence is to let the coppers tyres down before ya leave for work

 

You can get radar jammers too

So long as you hide it away where it can't be found immediately then you should be ok

Although they use the same principle as the garge door opener you can still get prosecuted for "obstructing an officer in the course of his duty", thats if they spot it & of course if its turned on.

 

So if you have a detector and a jammer, you can pick up when they are scanning you and then turn it off after you have slowed down

Bal i kind of agree mate but i live/work away in the week so i try to get home as quick as poss so i can have lots of quality time with my family.Bigears ta mate i will have a gander I work all over the country so i dont know many roads apart from my local ones.Anyway sometimes we speed coz the roads are shite and we endure sittin behind some diddering old fart doing 30mph in a 60 limit for 10 miles and the first opportunity you get to overtake its"zap".by then your frustrated to fook.They dont build better roads with the money they take in road tax/fuel duty so we put up with the crap roads that have been here for bloody years.Mad Mac,once again thanks mate.I have a detector but its crap.the signal buggers off more times than it appears.Its called a snooper s6 neo.but it works when it feels like and thats once in a blue moon.Ł500 smackers for a piece of crap.

Nope mate.you wrote it nicely. Yeah it is my first points but i honestly see it as a money makin exercise.They just got 60 quid which i dont care about coz i will charge it to my company so tight git gordon brown is actually payin.But when i spray the gatso/truvelo lenses of the cameras that i pass in that county in the next few weeks it will cost them a fook site more in people they dont catch and the clean up.I travel at 2-4 am when theres nowt on the road.I should go for a ban shouldnt I and claim that i cant work and live off the bleedin state.Ban equals they dont get road tax and i aint buyin fuel either.

I wont tell em i need it for work It was 69mph in a 60 limit.Just sat behind a dodderin old granny for 15 miles doin about 35mph.It wasnt anywhere near a town/village either.just pure open road.

 

ya wont get a ban for that, its ya first set of points so dont worry about it

dont affect ya insurance the first set anyway

well they wont be if where all speeding, if we all slow down then they will have spare time


helps if they give car criminals ( not ones like ya self that is , speeding is minor ) reg plates then all ya gotta do is fit a camera and when the alarm goes offn they get a flash and the court summons come in the post

It was fitted to my Coz when I had that but took it off when I sold the car. The unit (about the size of half a mars bar) is now sat in my garage. It is a laser jammer though so won't jam radar guns or gatsos etc.

I believe that mobile camera vans use laser in certain parts of the country and some other ones use radar?at least thats what i have seen on here.This could get expensive coz i may need both types of jammer. gonna get them though.cant stand the thought of gettin nicked again by lard arse scuffers sat in the back of a van eatin all day but believin theyre doin a worthwhile job whilst there are a load of illegal immigrants hopin over a hedge behind them (unseen) and theres muggings and stabbings going on and theyre too sh*t scared to do anything.I have had mates who have phoned the law to report theyre cars gettin nicked but theyve never got anyone to send out.Too busy,no one available coz theyre sat in the back of a van zappin people.
