The space near the gearbox is great!!! I know!!! Plenty of room for a big filter and oil-cooler!
And how are things with the downpipe??

Cheers Berry

The advantage is you can run far more boost because you have the abitily to put in much more fuel.

Involved is : you need a efi head, injectors, fuel rail, frst/efi or stand alone management, wiring loom adapted, efi inlet, EFI flywheel with cps and some more .... lots of Mfi--> Efi comversion topics here on PF ..

Downpipe has yet to be constructed, first alll the headwork and then the downpipe.
Have to work on it anyways because of the fitment of thme lambda sensor..

What bolts and gasket are you planing to use?
I've used felpro and standard RST head bolts as I was advised to use stretch ones, but to use them I had to machine the head in the place where bolts sit to go deeper by 8 mm

I'm Going to use a felpro gasket and cougar stretch bolts wich have to be shortened by about an inch or so.
Had it like this the last 2 years on my mfi ZVH.

It's not that simple when you have no marked wire harnes I'm making it from old EFI loom and I'm using no relay board
And at the moment I'm stuck with fidle valve so was wondering maybe Gregor has thought about it already.

Did some work again...

reground the valves/valveseats, put on new valvestemseals, put on the springs+valves, cam, thermostathousing and adj pulley.

Weird thing is the cam looks a littte off-set... but seems to have ran like this the whole time so shouldn't be a problem.

Got the bolts for the head and some other gaskets and nuts from the ford dealer.
Now waiting for the headgasket from burton so all can go on the bottom end

It is like that for one simple reason, this way lifters rotate all the time and don't wear in one place

Reason why i asked is because with my old mfi head with kent 35 cam the lobes were about in the middle of the follower holes so recconed it should be like that...... but learned something again..

While waiting for the headgastket , started to renew the brakelines as something wasn't right in the lines that were there.... the brakes didn't respond verry well so all new lines in there with a wilwood brake bias valve for the rear..

some pics..

When the cos brakes are reconditioned they're coming back on with the braided hodes
