But ass i said, my old pump wasn't all that anyway

Well, finally got started with the MS wiring loom.

Put the MS ecu in the glovebox, made a sort of relay board and sorted the wiring..
Now just plug all the sensors and make a nice injector loom.

Lots of thanks to JeroentjeRS for the help sofar and the pics

It's one off those brandless chinese intercoolers bought locally.
Just giving it a try, should be good but if i'm not pleased i can always buy one off those expensive ones from a known brand

Well, managed to do some work on the RST between the rain...

First removed the radiator and put on the stage 3 t3 turbo in steds of the standard one.

Then placed the 10" fans on the radiator and put it back in the car...

Finally got started soldering in the wiring loom till it was dark...

Some piccas..

Yes, i made the 228 bhp 298nm on a standard turbo.
I had the stage 3 on before but it started to pull to high in revvs as my zvh didn't revv verry well.
Now i hope with efi my max. revvs will be higher for a wider powerband.

well added the tubes for the intercooler , the airfilter and made the charge carrier "efi ready"

So to put another in have to remove the gearbox again ... :S... well nice excuse to put my AP paddle clutch in :P

Planned on placing the CPS holder this weekend so i arranged a garage and began yesterday..

All the work for this little bugger.....

As there was an AP 4 paddle clutch laying arround i could replace the ap fast road set at the same time.

Placed nicely centered

Messy :P

Box from the gearboxman ready to me placed

Also welded in the nut in the exhaust for the wideband lambda.

Towed it home today so i can be on the programming of the ecu upcoming weeks finally :P:P

Mine's running already But still didn't map it. It's on some map that was in default files. Maybe you gregor have a good example of ignition table from our type of setup?

Ey Greg,

This looks great mate! Hope your EFI conversion turns out to be good but I think it will.
Good luck with the built and keep us updated.

Maybe I'll be converting mine too in the future but won't be aiming for 300BHP though.
For the time being I haven't got time to work on my car though......

Thanks mark,

But it isn't a straight forward job and i'm having some problems.... perhaps ecu related

Don't think it will be ready for lelytown

Did you use the ford 36-1 file in default??

Mine doesn't seem to get the cps signal in some way so nothing works

With the question you asked about 36-1 It seams that you have theory problem not with the MS.
Aren't you using EDIS module?

Yes.. i meant are you using the 36-1 default file that is in mega tune ...

My problem is when i crank the engine i don't get an rmp in megatune whatever i do with the map settings.
Looks one of the component has been to hot while soldering ( or whatever that's called).
Bought a new component today and will put that in this weekend....
A mate off mine will come over with his MS to check if it's responding in my car.

I'm not using edis...
I've got 2 ignition coildrivers build in the ms so the ms is directly connected to the coil without the edis module.

If you use Edis You wouldn't have your problem. You only had to connect two wires to the MS and no risk of having anything getting to hot in the MS as all the stress goes to the EDIS module only PIP and SAW signals are getting to and out of the MS. I did it like that and I had no problem with the ignition from the day one I instaled it, but I fried some things too, so that's almost normal Hope You'll get there some day

Using the EDIS is the easy way. A lot of cars are using the coil drivers in the MS ecu. It should work good but it isnt made good. Thats the whole problem. The guy who made it is a noob. He should have known better

Problem is not it got to hot when installing the ms but when the ms was build. ( not by me :P )

Direct Colidrivers should work without problem.

But the problem is i´m not even getten a cps (rpm) signal in megatune so obviously i got no spark but that's not the problem area in my oppinion.

I'll get it sorted butt it'will take some searching for the problekm,, but hey that's all part off the hobby

I notices today that when i crank it all meters go to zero in megatune....
Hooked up a volt meter to the ms and when i crank it i got no voltage on it....

I did the wiring according to the schedule i got with the ms.
So the yellow powerlead when it's on contact powers everything but when i crank it there's no power on this...

Schould i connect the cranking puls lead as well to the ms so i got power to it when i'm cranking?

Stupid i never saw this before..

Hooked up the MS to a constant powerlead and got a nice 300 rpm when cranking

That's the first thing you had to check you hook it to the black wire not the yellow from the ignition switch the yellow one is used for the cars stereo and everyone knows that during cranking you hear no music in RST
