bought a set of wheels of a guy on this site,in mid november could not get together to collect so he said he would post them to me.

posted at the end of november to me 3 wheels turned up next day delivery driver said may have been split up so the fourth wheel should be with you in the next couple of days.

two weeks later still no wheel been in touch with the guy he rang dhl and they say its on it way,week later i ring dhl they will have to look in to it as it could be lost so they will put a search for it and get back to me.

friday before christmas have a phone call of dhl to say that they have lost the wheel and need to make a claim,so i ring the claims number but as i am not the sender i can not make the claim so i have to ring the guy who sent them to do this for me,

he is not very help full with this as he said he was waiting for the form all the time,

he never replies to my messages threw passion ford any more,rang his phone the other day and with held my number and his partner answered and put him on the phone and he said he had not had my meassges and he had not been on passion ford for two weeks,but he has been putting things up for sale and his user name is at the bottom of the page so he has been on,

rang dhl myself yesterday to be told that the claim would have been payed out in seven working days.

what do i do next please

Shambles really - the bloke should be helping you, as he has nothing to lose but a few mins of his time.

All i can do is wait for DHL. Ive submitted the claims form & spoke to them last week so what more can i do but wait? I sent them & supplied a tracking number for the wheels so stuck to my part & was helpful BEFORE he threatened to come to my house.

Its just 1 of those things, i said i'll sort it & i will but constant persistance & threatning pm's wont get you know where. As most people who have had something go missing will know that theres fuck all you can do but wait.

I've been in the same position with DHL as well James, good on you for replying on here and advising you are dealing with it.

In my case the company I used to send some coilovers were not DHL, but used them to do the actual delivery. DHL couldn't tell me much and advised me to claim when they went missing, all of sudden 4 weeks later they turned up. Thankfully the buyer was quite patient and happy to keep them once they showed up. I just kept him posted every time I spoke to or heard from DHL.

PDH11R - Good to see this is being dealt with, one thing I will say is I'd be very surprised if James had sent 3 wheels only - can't really see the point of that, so it's bound to be a DHL fault. Now James is on it hopefully he'll keep you posted and DHL will find the wheel (not exactly easy to lose compared to say a small letter).

Did you sign for 3 parcels only when they were delivered? Does the POD sheet / delivery note say Parcel 1 of 4 etc?

Does the problem lie with the missing wheel not having an address or barcode label on it now ?

Back track yourself through the receiving depot and any hubs during delivery (they will be on the pod online). All hubs have a contact number and you will find it quicker than waiting for a monkey in an office to reply.

 

I do reply BUT i said i will let you know when its sorted & your constantly on my case & at the mo its out of my hands. Like ive said when you called me friday & i spoke to you.

I can understand fully but you've really gone the wrong way about this. Its as much fault of mine as it is yours.

 

I had this with a comany and they sent ot a new one and claimed them selfs.But i think james p is bein reasonable enuf mate just hold out.
