Default Removing Dump Valve????

Should I remove the Group A dump valve from my cossie. It is currently fitted to the cold side & I am running 14/24 psi switchable boost with a hybrid T3. If I remove it will it have any detrimental effects on the turbo life? Can i expect the car to be any more or less responsive??
Help much appreciated.
Andy

Here we go again

Just take it off unless you run a T4 or more with shit loads of boost

take it off only if you run a 360 degree bearing in the turbo!

what switchable boost you using?

I keep thinking about taking mine off, but its my first turbo and my dream when I was 17 was that noise , so i'll keep it on untill it ever annoys me

Got two cossies running stg3 and both have no dump valves. Both have hybrid's and have never given a problem. Best advice i can give you is to take it off and stick it in your shed for a couple of weeks and see how you go. There are lots of different opinions out there on this matter as im sure you will find out. Good luck.
