when you refit a s2 inlet manifold, apart from the fixings and inlet gasket

are there any other seals i should replace. when i remove the fuel start valve. ive just read theres a gasket , has anyone brought one from ford seperately, recently? im going to try to get the fuel pipe washers anyway, its just the gasket,

my ford bloke trys to flog me off ,if he cant be arsed to look, and says the part is no longer available,and it would be handy to tell him "no, you can still get them "

WTF is it with Ford Parts people all across the country? They just can't be arsed!

Anyway, I would replace the 2 gaskets for the Inlet (one between the Inlet and the Injector Plate and one between that and the head). I would also do the Inlet to throttle body gasket. Thats about it really.

 

Change your injector seals at the same time
